Jamaal Lascelles has become an integral part of Newcastle United’s back line, but rumours have emerged suggesting that he has attracted interest from elsewhere.
According to The Sun, West Ham United are considering making a £15m bid for the centre-back.
The publication claims that any transfer will be decided on the amount of fee and if the wages meet Lascelles’s expectations.
The 24-year-old has been part of the North-East outfit since 2014 when he joined from Nottingham Forest.

This season in particular, Lascelles has shown real leadership qualities as captain under manager Rafael Benitez.
It is still unknown where Newcastle will be playing football next season as they currently sit four points above the relegation zone with eight games left to play.
Rafael Benitez guided the Magpies back into the top flight from the Championship last season, and their main aim will be to stay there.
Losing Lascelles would be a huge blow tot he team regardless of which league they will be positioned in for the 2018-19 campaign.
The majority of Newcastle fans, though, are not convinced that the defender would leave for West Ham.
