According to Sabah, Everton are close to wrapping up a deal for Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne and have had a €15m (£13.7m) bid ‘immediately’ accepted for the forward.
What’s the word, then?
Well, the report states that the Toffees decided to use the money generated by the imminent sale of Henry Onyekuru to Monaco to put towards an offer for Diagne, which has reportedly been accepted.
The Senegal international enjoyed an excellent 2018/19 campaign with 31 goals to his name across all competitions, whilst also recording four assists.
Diagne, 27, also appeared for his country at this summer’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament, helping Senegal get all the way to the final where they unfortunately lost to Algeria.
It may only be in the Super Lig, but there is no denying Diagne knows where the back of the net is.
Has Marco Silva finally made his mind up on Richarlison’s best position?
Last season, Marco Silva used his new £50m recruit in a number of positions throughout the entirety of the campaign.

Brazil international Richarlison played as a centre-forward 11 times, but also played out on the left eight times and made 11 appearances on the right flank – it seemed as if Silva wasn’t sure what the former Watford man’s best position was.
Now, however, with the seemingly impending arrival of Diagne and the also imminent signing of Juventus striker Moise Kean, you would presume that the former Hull boss wouldn’t be planning on using Richarlison in the middle – even more so with Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin already at the club.

Additionally, another Brazil international in Bernard made 34 league appearances last term with most of them coming on the left, and was putting in some brilliant performances towards the end of the campaign.
With that in mind, you would expect Richarlison to now be seen primarily as a right-forward given the more solidified looking areas around him.
The pursuit of Diagne could very easily point to Silva making his mind up on Richarlison’s best position.
