Alan Hutton has been left reacting to some transfer news that he has now heard from a Glasgow Rangers source.
The Lowdown: Morelos bids
As per Football Insider, a source from Ibrox has revealed that the Teddy Bears are now braced for bids for Alfredo Morelos in the summer, and will look to hold out for a fee of over £13m.

This is because they have failed to tie him down to a new deal, with his current one set to expire in 2023.
He is not the only key player with a soon to be expiring contract, as Ryan Kent’s deal is also set to run out in the same year.
The Latest: Hutton reacts
Speaking to Football Insider, former Light Blues right-back Hutton has now reacted to the FI source’s news on Morelos, claiming that it would be a ‘huge loss’ if both him and Kent were to leave:
“I think it’s quite a big drop from what we were talking about a couple of seasons ago.
“When you look at the form that he’s been in recently, I think you’d probably want more than that. The only downside is he’s going into his final year.
“If you can’t get him to sign a contract now, there’s an opportunity that he leaves for nothing. It’s a huge decision.
“You look at Ryan Kent as well, they’re in the exact same position. If you can’t tie them down to a long-term deal and you don’t sell them, they could walk away
“That would be a huge loss to Rangers, those two.”
The Verdict: Sign them up!
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team need to do everything in their power to sign both Morelos and Kent up to long-term deals.
Between them, they have 34 goal contributions combined in total in the Scottish Premiership and UEFA Europa League so far this season, and rank among their top four performers in both competitions (WhoScored).
Nonetheless, with neither signing contracts at the moment, there is a real risk that the Gers could lose them both on a free transfer, which would hurt them financially, or indeed be forced to cash in this summer.
They are simply too important to the side at this minute in time, and replacing both at once would be near impossible without significant investment.
