Ajax were beaten 4-3 by Utrecht on Sunday in another fractious clash. The Amsterdam giants went 2-0 down, but fought back in a remarkable 13 minute-spell in which they took a 3-2 lead. Jens Toornstra restored parity, before Oscar Luigi Fraulo scored the winner in injury time, either side of two suspensions in play, consigning Ajax to the relegation zone in the Eredivisie.

The game was suspended on two occasions as missiles were thrown on the pitch. First, the game was delayed in the 89th minute, but after the restart, Utrecht scored, and more missiles were thrown, seemingly in celebration. After the second restart, Utrecht held on to take all three points.
Ajax have now gone eight games in all competitions without a win, their longest such run in 69 years, and are now in their lowest-ever Eredivisie position.
